The first screen after login answers the one question that matters most: what is on today? Appointments, the month calendar, and what to watch for with today's animals - all on one screen.

Calendar and appointments

The calendar is the screen you work in for most of the day. It shows the day, the week, and the open gaps - and creates repeats on its own.

Client directory

Day to day you search for the animal, not the surname. The directory is built around that.

Pet records by business type

A grooming salon needs different fields than a pet sitter. So the business type decides what the record contains, instead of forcing both trades into the same form.

  • Sitter: feeding plan, medication, compatibility
  • Sitter: vaccination status with expiry date, emergency vet contact

Price list

Set up services with a price and duration once - from then on you just pick them when booking.

  • Price and estimated duration are filled in on the appointment automatically
  • Both stay editable per appointment, e.g. for a discount
  • Note sub-services per package - handy for new staff
  • Free text for services that are not on the price list

Revenue at a glance

Not bookkeeping, but an answer to the question of how the month went.

Privacy by default

Those decisions are made inside the application rather than delegated to a checkbox.

What FellDesk deliberately does not do

So you can skip the trial if one of these is a dealbreaker for you:

  • No online booking by end customers — you create appointments yourself.
  • No integrated cash drawer and no certified point-of-sale function.
  • No automatic SMS or email appointment reminders.
  • No inventory management for shampoos, accessories, or food sales.
  • No separate staff accounts — a business works from one shared login.
  • No branch or multi-location management — FellDesk is built for solo businesses and small salons, not for chains.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can clients book their own appointments online?
No. FellDesk is a management tool for the business, not a booking portal for end customers. You create appointments yourself - arranged by phone, by message, or in the salon.
Does FellDesk send automatic appointment reminders by SMS or email?
No, automatic sending is not currently included. The calendar shows you upcoming appointments; sending the reminder is up to you.
Do I need an installation or does FellDesk work on smartphone & PC?
FellDesk is a modern web app (SaaS). No app installation required: simply log in via browser on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or PC. Your data synchronizes automatically.
Can I easily import existing client and pet data?
Yes, inputting data into FellDesk is extremely fast and intuitive. In just a few minutes, you have entered your regular clients. Our support team is happy to help with any questions.
